Landscape- Sea
From the exhibition “Landscape – Earth,” Mouna Ikhlassy, Nicolas Magne Lefebvre, and Marie Schuiten move on to “Landscape – Sea” in order to continue the dialogue between the founding elements of life cycles.
These two exhibitions develop in parallel thanks to their common denominator, the very principle of all reality: the breath of life. The cosmic energies that depend on it are the major issue that ODRADEK seeks to develop. We will therefore see them unfold in each artist’s initiatives. Celebrated in their works, they are in constant interaction and prove the active and animated nature of all things.
The landscape presents and represents these primordial forces, which are both opposed and harmonious. Nature and humans showcase their mutual interdependence and co-participation by sharing a reciprocal intelligence.
The sea, with its vast expanse and the horizon it offers to the sky and the stars, moves and is moved from within and without. It reflects the interpenetration of the winds associated with the atmosphere, the melting of the snow, and its own currents. It thus participates in the cosmic traffic of attraction-repulsion, which its tides reveal in a masterful way. This natural energy is present within us as it is in all things. Humans participate in this dual movement, this passage from inside to outside and vice versa, such as inbreathing and outbreathing, which puts us in symbiosis with the Earth’s atmosphere. We share the same breath, the same dynamic.
