ODRADEK a 10 ans

To celebrate its 10th anniversary, ODRADEK is inviting almost all the artists exhibited since 2014 to come together for a joint hanging.

As the aim of this retrospective is to activate our curatorial line, we have brought the works together according to it, essentially based on the paradigm of encounter and interdisciplinarity.

In our space on rue Américaine, we’ve sought to develop synergies and affinities between the artists, and between them and the public. The space must therefore be welcoming, accessible and conducive to reflection on the role of art within different cultural practices.

Through conferences, workshops, exhibitions and other events, ODRADEK, now a not-for-profit organisation, reaches out to as wide a range of audiences as possible, its aim being to connect art and life, writing and drawing.

Regardless of the constraints of the art market, our aim is to develop the field of perception in order to free our gaze and encourage us to think in images.

By defending the art of the line and the dynamics and rhythm that accompany it, the artists associated with the project are seeking to free us from the conditioning of academic and institutional knowledge.
