The revival
The first artist invited to open our premises in September 2014 was Lodewijk Heylen. Having just completed his studies in urban art at La Cambre, he installed in the gallery a series of hard granite slabs pierced with an abrasive jet, an operation carried out in an industrial projection booth. With him, the power of the machines used in construction and major public works is assigned a mission that is no longer that of an industrial issue, but rather that of a symbolic demonstration of accelerated temporality.

10 years on, Lodewijk Heylen is back to celebrate our anniversary with a series of new installations based on the misuse of factory machinery.
