Roby
Comblain

Roby Comblain, a set designer by training, has been working in the medium of printmaking for over twenty years.

In 2018 he set up his ARTLEY K 100 press at 40A rue des Vétérinaires in Brussels (Belgium), close to the Gare du Midi.

The studio, which is open to the public and designed as a space for exchange and dialogue, revolves around quality prints (xylogravures, linocuts or monotypes), and particularly large formats, of which Roby is a specialist.

Roby Comblain’s woodblock prints show how the texture of wood becomes an interlocutor.
