Combining a meticulous, almost reconstitutional technique with a highly original arrangement of space, her landscapes are like visions or memories.

Anne Marie Finné also uses carbon paper, which reveals itself through erasure. In her drawings, the silhouettes of trees appear like clouds, reminiscent of printed images from old paintings. The paper is transformed by the way it shudders, like a fleeting shadow, as the landscape unfolds. Anne Marie Finné takes carbon paper to the edge of exhaustion, to the limit of the imperceptible.

She is particularly fond of old, timeless places like the Maison des Arts in Schaerbeek (2013) and the Maison Lismonde in Linkebeek (2022), where she creates an intimate space, a cocoon of serenity, deploying small and large formats.
